The market for MDM/PIM and related services is valued at $35 Billion per annum, services and software. Understanding the demand, nurturing the relationship with prospective clients, and delivering an compelling offering requires a large amount of coordination; be that of internal stakeholders, partner organisations or the prospects themselves.

The focus of your role: 

Working with social media channels as well as phone and email you’ll be handling inbound enquiries from prospective new clients, finding out more about their data management requirements and identifying opportunities for Comma to offer services.

You’ll also be proactively reaching out to target organizations to connect with relevant stakeholders and make them aware of Comma’s services.

You’ll be supporting events and campaigns run by Comma’s marketing team and you’ll be responsible for ensuring the company’s data records of client interactions is kept up to date.

This is primarily an office-based role and by working in our Warwick HQ you’ll have direct access to support from colleagues. There is flexibility to work from home too.

You’ll also be expected to travel from time to time, to join members of the BD team in client meetings and presentations, as well as to join Comma events taking place in various cities in UK and Europe.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • You’ll be a persistent, determined and goal-oriented person who has excellent written and spoken communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
  • You’ll have experience working in a technology sales or telephone-oriented sales role.
  • You need to be outgoing and confident to speak to and connect with many different people on a daily basis. You’ll be able to ask open questions to gain an understanding of a client’s needs, and able to articulate (at high level) Comma’s value proposition and how this can benefit the client
  • You will have the ability to work with all levels of professionals within a business, including Board Executives, Directors, Business Managers, IT Managers and Solution Architects etc.

 

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise a high-volume workload as appropriate
  • Ability to work independently and manage own time effectively without supervision
  • A self-starter, proactive, resilient with a positive, “can do” and “roll-up-the-sleeves” mentality to get the job done
  • Excellent administration and organisation skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office especially Outlook, Excel and Word. High standard of spelling and grammar.
